Nithyakalyani Jewellery cleans up Wellawatte Beach

Wellawatte Nithyakalyani Jewellery, for the fourth time, carried out its signature social service project cleaning up the Wellawatte beach stretch recently.

The event organized by Wellawatte Nithyakalyani Jewellery with the support of Wellawatte Police witnessed the staff and customers of Nithyakalyani and the general public collaborate for this project.

The beach clean-up was carried out on August 16 from 6 am onwards, and it was a sight to behold when the beach that had been littered with garbage transformed into a beautiful stretch of pristine sand, thanks to this social service project. Participating in the event, CEO of Wellawatte Nithyakalyani Jewellery, A. P. Jayarajah stated that the beach cleaning campaign is a key component of their CSR calendar and that the organization is delighted to be part of this worthy cause.

“Our beaches are our responsibility. We should join hands to protect our beautiful beaches constantly through programs such as these,” added Dhivakar Balasubramaniam, Associate Partner of Wellawatte Nithyakalyani Jewellery.
