Professor Gunapala Rathnasekara appointed Kurunegala DC Chairman

Kurunegala District Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) Parliamentarian Professor Gunapala Rathnasekara was appointed as the Kurunegala District Development Committee Chairman by President Gotabaya Rajapaksa at the historic ‘Magul Maduwa’ of the Sri Dalada Maligawa on Wednesday (12).Gunapala Rathnasekara contested the election in Panduwasnuwara and obtained 141,991 preferential votes. The Director of the Kurunegala Sipwin Private Tuition Institute, he is well-qualified Parliamentarian among the Kurunegala District SLPP members. He holds many other senior managerial positions at government institutions.
