CSD man tested COVID 19 positive

A Civil Security Department (CSP) employee of the Lankapura Divisional Secretariat in Polonnaruwa tested positive for COVID 19 yesterday. According to Polonnaruwa District Regional Health Director Dr. W. K. W. S. Kumarawansa, a PCR tests were conducted on the staff of the Divisional Secretariat after two of them tested positive a few days ago.

He said 980 persons including the entire staff of the Divisional Secretariat were tested for COVID 19.

Eleven persons tested positive at the Divisional Secretariat Division after inmates of the Kandakadu Rehabilitation Centre tested positive.
