‘MyBus-SL’ mobile application (app) which facilitates the passengers with passenger transporting bus-related information was launched under the patronage of Passenger Transport Management Minister Mahinda Amaraweera in Colombo yesterday.
The application is a production of the ICT Division of the National Transport Commission (NTC) and provides the user with the information of the bus timetable, start and the destination of the journey, movement of the busses and the bus fares.
It also includes facilities for card payment and to lodge complaints against the busses.
Under the first phase, details of the inter-provincial bus services will be included in the app where the details of the Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) and the other private bus services will be added later on.
