Green light for film shows from June 27

Following the instructions and the permission from the Health Ministry, the Government has decided to re-open all movie theaters countrywide from June 27, Kurunegala Senior Divisional Secretary W.E. Jayathilake told the Daily News yesterday (22) in Kurunegala.

According to him, Secretary to the Ministry of Cultural Affairs, M.K.B. Bandula Harischandra has officially issued a special announcement with regard to this. Those who visit cinema halls to watch movies have to strictly follow the respective health guidelines.
