61,093 curfew violators arrested

Within 24-hour period the police had arrested 668 persons who had violated the curfew orders. The police had also taken into their custody 248 vehicles.

Since the curfew was imposed from 20th of March to 6.00 am 21st May the police have arrested 61,093 persons who had violated the curfew regulations and 17,172 vehicles had also been taken into custody.

Meanwhile, cases have been filed against 17,949 curfew violators so far, the police said.
