The ‘Colombo Medical Congress 2020’ begins today at the Waters Edge Grand Ballroom in Battaramulla, at 6:00 p.m., under the theme ‘Medicine in Sri Lanka - The legacy and the future’.
Sir Sabaratnam Arulkumaran is to participate as the chief guest at the event, while Prof. Emeritus Kamini Mendis is to be the guest of honour. They are to deliver the keynote address.
The event has been organised by the Colombo University Medical Faculty and the Colombo Medical School Alumni Association (COMSAA).
The ‘Colombo Medical Congress 2020’ will continue till February 15 and will include components such as workshops, plenary meetings, guests’ lectures, seminars, panels, and oral abstracts.
