Attorney Ajith Prasanna remanded till Feb.7

The Colombo High Court yesterday ordered to remand attorney-at-law Ajith Prasanna till February 7.

He further stated that he has lodged a complaint with the Judicial Service Commission against High Court judge Gihan Kulatunga and it is being heard. He moved court to release him on a bail and fix another date for inquiry.

Considering the matter, Colombo High Court Judge Dammika Ganepola observed that the conduct of this suspect would adversely affect the entire judicial system as a whole.

The Judge rejected the bail application submitted by Ajith Prasanna and ordered him to be remanded till February 7. The case will be taken up again on February 7.
