Foreign Minister meets Indian CSE Director General

Foreign Minister Dinesh Gunawardena met Sunita Narain, Director General of Centre for Science and Environment of India (CSE) at his recent official visit to india. They discussed future links with this institute and Sri Lanka. Sunita Narain is an Indian environmentalist and political activist and as well as a major proponent of the green concept of sustainable development. CSE has received the 2018 Indira Gandhi prize for peace, disarmament and Development. CSE Deputy Director General Chandra Bhushan also participated at the discussion.
