Police arrested 105 youth for carrying drugs, while they were going on ‘Sri Pada pilgrimage’ in the last three weeks.
They were arrested with ‘Kerala cannabis’, heroin, ‘ICE’, and ‘Madana Modaka,’ police said. Special search operations are carried out at several railway stations and bus stops along the Hatton road to apprehend those carrying drugs when going on pilgrimage. Police dogs have been deployed in the operations.
Police said that many of the suspects are between 20 and 30 years.
