Russian delegation:

A five-member delegation of Russian counter-terrorism experts arrived in Sri Lanka on Monday to share their knowledge and experience on countering IS terrorism in Syria with Sri Lankan military personnel headed by Major General Andrei Ilinykh paid a courtesy call on Chief of Defence Staff Admiral Ravindra Wijegunaratne yesterday at the Office of the Chief of Defence Staff. They held a discussion on matters of mutual interest with special emphasis on training.
