‘Dengue-Free Schools’ competition awards ceremony

The Office of the Nintavur Medical Officer of Health (MOH) recently awarded several schools in the district for keeping their premises clean and preventing the spread of dengue.

This was after the MOH office held a competition between the schools in the district as a way of promoting cleanliness among schoolchildren. The event was held under the title ‘Dengue-Free Schools’.

Km/Imam Roomy Vidyalaya bagged first place at the competition, while Km/Al-Maslam Vidyalaya and Imam Gazzaly Vidyalaya secured the second and third places, respectively.

Nintavur MOH Thasleema Basheer and Provincial Health Director Alaudeen were also present at the event.
