Minister of Development Strategies and International Trade Malik Samarawickrama and Sri Lanka’s High Commissioner to India Austin Fernando met the Indian Business Community at a SriLanka Business and Investment Forum held at the Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Ahamedabad.
The discussion centered on ways in which business could be developed between Gujarat and SriLanka. Minister Samarawickrama explained how business can be established between the two countries and the businessmen shared their experiences in establishing business with SriLanka. During this visit to Gujarat, Minister Malik Samarawickrama met with the Chief Minister of Gujarat, Shri Vijaybhai Rupani and held constructive discussions on establishing and expanding Sri Lanka - Gujarat business investments and connections.
