Unbeaten team Colombo will meet team Dambulla in the final of the ‘Under 19 Super Provincial 50 over tournament at Rangiri Dambulla International Cricket stadium today.

Sri Lanka youth skipper Nipun Dananjaya will lead the team Colombo and Sri Lanka Youth deputy skipper Kamil Mishara will lead the team Colombo.

Team Colombo beat team Galle, team Kandy and team Dambulla in the first round fixtures. Team Dambulla beat team Galle and team Kandy and they lost to team Colombo.

Kamil Mishara skipper of team Colombo scored 257 runs in 3 matches with a century and a half century. Ahan Wickramasinghe scored 163 runs with 2 half tons in 3 matches. Praveen De Silva took 8 wickets for 122 runs in 3 matches.

Team Dambulla's Ravindu Rashantha scored 119 runs with a half century in 3 matches. Sudeera Thilakarathne took 8 wickets for 126 runs and Ashen Daniel took 7 wickets for 157 runs in 3 matches.

Team Galle wins third place

Team Galle beat team Kandy by 9 runs and secured third place in the ‘Under 19 Super Provincial 50 over tournament yesterday.

Team Galle won the toss and elected to bat and was bowled out for 302 runs in 46.4 overs. Left hand opener Navod Paranavithana scored quick 91 runs in 58 balls with 15 boundaries and a six. Other opener Chihan Kalindu scored 76 runs in 64 balls with 6 boundaries and 2 sixes. Openers Navod Paranavithana and Chihan Kalindu made 147 runs stand for first wicket. Skipper Thaveesha Abhishek scored 57 runs in 51 balls with 3 boundaries and 3 sixes. Chihan Kalindu and Thaveesha Abhishek made 67 runs stand for second wicket. Ashen Dilhara (21), Thevin Amarasinghe (15) and Amshi De Silva (10) helped to build their innings. Lohan De Zoysa took 5 wickets for 48 runs with a hat-trick. Rohan Sanjaya took 2 wickets for 55 runs.

Team Kandy was bowled out for 293 runs in 49.1 overs. Opener Kavindu Wickramasinghe scored 59 runs in 69 balls with 9 boundaries and a six and other opener Avishka Perera scored 55 runs in 63 balls with 6 boundaries and a six.
