The latest Sri Lankan Parliamentary delegation to tour China, which is led by former Cabinet Minister Nimal Siripala de Silva, arrived in Shan Xi Province yesterday on its week-long visit. The delegation, comprising seven Parliamentarians and staff members, is scheduled to return on July 21.
The delegation programme includes meetings with top level politicians in Shan Xi Province, discussions with the managements of major manufacturing firms, study of the poverty alleviation programme of Mingming Town, among other activities.
