Kingswood Under 16 team Central Province football champions

Kingswood College under 16 footballers under the guidance of coach S.A. Weerasinghe emerged Central Province champions in the tournament organized by Education Department of Central Province.

They were unbeaten in the 45-team tournament. They have qualified for the All Island National School tournament scheduled to be held in September.

The champion team comprised H.K.I. Ishara, M.A. Asmi, Dulina Yatigammana, Nadila Kularathna, Chantuka Dassanayaka, D.M. Liyanage, R.C Rupasingha, R.P. Rupasingha, Deshan Unambuwa, Denet Dissanayaka, I.M. Ishan, A.P. Rathnayaka, N. Weerabangsa, Samuel Stewan, S.M. Herath, Dumidu Bandara, Dulasha Liyanage, S.A.Weerasinghe (head coach) and Koshala Nawarathne (assistant coach).
