A ceremonial sitting to welcome Justice Yasantha Kodagoda PC as the 47th President of the Court of Appeal is to be held today (6) morning at the Court of Appeal.
Additional Solicitor General Yasantha Kodagoda PC was sworn in as the President of the Court of Appeal before President Maithripala Sirisena on March 28.
The new Court of Appeal President will be accorded a welcome by Judges of the Court of Appeal, High Courts, District Courts and the Magistrate’s Courts.
The ceremony will be graced by Bar Association of Sri Lanka (BASL) President, the acting Attorney General and BASL members.
