Dubai deports two more Madhush accomplices

Two more suspects who had been arrested along with underworld leader ‘Makandure Madhush’ in Dubai were deported to the country yesterday morning.

The two individuals had arrived at around 4.55 am aboard UL 226, police spokesman SP Ruwan Gunasekara said.The deportees have been identified as M.S Mohamed Shiyam (48) a resident of Colombo and W.L. Ranjith Perera, (40) from Kamburupitiya.

The duo were arrested by the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) upon arrival at the airport and they were being questioned, the police spokesman said.

Dubai authorities on February 4 arrested 31 suspects including Makandure Madhush and remanded them till March 28. Eight suspects have been deported so far.
