Minuwangoda to get nearly 200 new houses

The Housing, Construction and Cultural Affairs Ministry plans to construct 175 new houses in the Minuwangoda electorate, under the Udagama housing programme, at the request of Gampaha District Parliamentarian Edward Gunasekara.

The houses will be built in Polwatte, Kalavigoda and Nilpanagoda.

Meanwhile, the Megapolis and Western Development Ministry has already begun work on a five-storey public market complex costing Rs. 60 million in Minuwangoda town, at Gunasekera’s request.
