Kumar Mayadunne appointed to BOC Board of Directors

Senior Banker Kumar Mayadunne has been appointed to the Board of Directors of Bank of Ceylon with effect from February 2019 as per a Colombo Stock Exchange disclosure.

Mayadunne, a veteran Banker, with over 45 years banking experience has held several senior positions at Standard Chartered Bank, Peoples Bank, Nations Trust Bank and SDB Bank and served as a Consultant with Ernst & Young. He was also an Independent Non-Executive Director of Indra Finance Ltd.

Bank of Ceylon Board of Directors now comprise of Ronald C Perera PC, Chairman, Kumar Mayadunne, Prakash Schafter and K.A.Vimalenthiraraja. Senarath Bandara is CEO/GM.
