Walk to mark World Interfaith Harmony Week

The Sustainable Development Goals Citizens Forum of Sri Lanka (SDGCFSL) has organised the Inter Faith Harmony Walk on Sunday, February 10 to mark the Inter Faith Harmony Week-Annual Observance Week from February 1 to 7. They aim at fostering the ideals of religious harmony, goodwill, peace and coexistence among all communities in Sri Lanka.

The Walk will start from the Independence Square at 7.30 am and proceed via Independence Avenue, Horton Place, Wijerama Mawatha, Bauddhaloka Mawatha and reach the Independence Square at around 9.30 am. This will be the concluding event of the World Inter Faith Harmony Week Annual Observance Week. The President will be the chief guest. Commendation certificates will be awarded to the participants in appreciation.

The world Inter Faith Harmony Week provides a platform one week a year when all inter faith people and other groups of goodwill can show the world what a powerful movement they are.
