Woman amasses Rs. 2 mn in job fraud

A woman who had deceived a number of youths who wished to go to Italy for employment was arrested by Marawila Police on Saturday.

She had collected a total of Rs. 2 million from the youth, promising to get them jobs in Italy. She had given bogus visa documents for the job seekers and about 10 such young men had given her money to look for jobs for them.
