Two men arrested with 250 heroin packets

Two suspects were arrested with 250 packets of heroin on Monday night at the Gettuwana railway station on a tip off.

They were residents of Gettuwana and Kolapalalikanda, Police said. They were about to distribute the drugs when the police arrested them.

The suspects were produced before the Kurunegala Chief Magistrate Sampath Hewawasam and ordered to be remanded.
