MPI whch has made a name as one of the leading film distributors in the island has turned a new page by entering film productions. Their first production, Harsha Udakanda’s ‘Goree’, held its muhurath ceremony at the National Film Corporation’s Tharangani hall recently.
‘Goree’ is Harsha’s fourth film. It is an action film which stars Sriyantha Mendis, Kelum Aryan, Roshan Ranawana, Pubudu Chathuranga, Vinu Siriwardena, Tina Shanel , Rajitha Hiran, Amila Karunanayake, Kumara Ranapura and many others. Nishantha Jayawardena is the producer. The executive producer is Kelum Udayakumara. Mahesh Karunaratne is the cinematographer. Thivanka Amarasiri is the editor. The make up is handled by Dhanushka Hulangamuwa. Hasitha Rajapaksa is the assistant director. Samath Janaka is the arty director while Niroshan Dreams is the music director.
