MP Range Bandara gives CIABOC statement on alleged bribing of MPs

UNP MP Palitha Range Bandara gave a statement to the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery and Corruption (CIABOC) yesterday over the alleged bribing of MPs to win the majority of Parliament.

The Bribery Commission had summoned the MP to record a statement with regard to an on-going investigation on the allegations of bribing the MPs with money and cabinet portfolios to switch the sides in Parliament.

The investigation commenced following a complaint filed by the Transparency International. UNP members Sujeewa Senasinghe, Prof. Ashu Marasinghe, Mujibar Rahuman, Chaminda Wijesiri and Hesha Vithana accompanied the MP.
