Four-storeyed building for Police Training School

The Cabinet of ministers approved the proposal presented by Public Administration and Management and Law and Order Minister Ranjith Madduma Bandara, to facilitate the administrative process of training programmes at the school by providing a modern, four-storeyed building to replace the current building.

Constructing a cardiothoracic complex at Lady Ridgeway Hospital

The Cabinet of ministers approved the proposal presented by President Maithripala Sirisena, in his capacity as the Defence Minister, to award the contract for preparing the base of the Cardiothoracic Complex Project to Nawaloka Pvt. Ltd. for a sum of Rs. 99.67 million.

Establishing an airport hotel

The Cabinet of ministers approved a proposal presented by Acting Transport and Civil Aviation Minister Ashoka Abeysinghe, to award the procurement of construction and maintenance of a hotel in a land owned by Airport and Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) Ltd., to Thilanka Hotel Pvt. Ltd. and Striders Corporation as recommended by the Cabinet-appointed Standing Procurement Committee.

Magazines for SriLankaAirlines customers

In accordance with the recommendation of the Cabinet-appointed Standing Procurement Committee, the Cabinet of ministers approved a proposal presented by Public Enterprise and Kandy City Development Minister Lakshman Kiriella, to award the procurement of magazines and leaflets regarding facilities which could be utilised for the entertainment of passengers using SriLankan Airlines, to Inflight Dublin Pvt. Ltd. for a sum of Rs. 5.92 million and for a period of three years, starting from October 1.

Wandurapenuella Watersupply Project

The Cabinet of ministers approved the proposal presented by City Planning and Water Supply Minister Rauff Hakeem, to sign a Memorandum of Understanding between the National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWDSB) and M/s Tata Projects Ltd., to conduct a feasibility study on the proposed Wandurapinuella Reservoir Project.

Commencing a water supply system at Naiwala

The Cabinet of ministers approved a proposal presented by City Planning and Water Supply Minister Rauff Hakeem, to provide the contract of constructing a 1500-cubic metre water tower in the Naiwala area along with the installation of water pipes and other accessories, to Silex Engineering Pvt. Ltd. and Prathibha Industries Ltd. as recommended by the Cabinet-appointed Standing Procurement Committee.
