ICC Judicial Commissioner rejects Chandimal’s appeal

Sri Lankan Cricket Captain Dinesh Chandimal’s appeal against suspension imposed on him from playing at the West Indies tour for changing the state of the ball was rejected by the international Cricket Council (ICC) Judicial Commissioner this morning.

Accordingly, Chandimal will not take part in the 3rd Test against West Indies today.

The Sri Lanka Cricket has decided to appoint Suranga Lakmal as the acting Captain for the time being.
