President’s Chief of Staff I.H.K. Mahanama and former State Timber Corporation (STC) Chairman P. Dissanayake who were arrested of accepting a bribe of Rs.540 million from an Indian investor were remanded until June 5.
The duo who were taken into custody by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) on May 3 while allegedly accepting the bribe in a hotel in Colombo.
