Man gunned down

A 39-year-old man was gunned down in the morning yesterday by an unidentified gunman in Sevanagala, Embilipitiya.

According to the Police Media Spokesman’s Office, the gunman had come on a motorcycle and shot the victim at his house around 6 am yesterday. The victim was identified as Lasantha Saman Kumara, a resident of Walawegama, Udawalawe. The assailant has not been identified so far. The motive for the killing had also not been established yet.

Sevanagala Police are investigating.
