CWC strong in CP - Vice President

Ceylon Worker’s Congress Vice President and CPC member A.P.Sakthivel said some in the opposition cannot bear their victory and are mudslinging at the CWC.

He further said the Ceylon Workers’ Congress will contest at the Local Government election in the Nuwara Eliya District under the cockeral symbol.

“Some opposition party candidates have given bribes to increase their votes.We have complained to the Elections Commissioner about these election law violations since election rules and regulations are very strict,” he added. Ceylon Worker’s Congress Vice President and CPC Minister M.Rameshwaran and Ceylon Worker’s Congress President, Muthu Sivalingam also participated.
