“Mercantile Athletic Federation is a leading sports federation in Sri Lanka,” Olympic Medalist Susanthika Jayasinghe said as she participated as the Chief Guest in the Mercantile Athletic Colours Night which was held at the Hatton National Bank Auditorium, Colombo 10 recently.
“I think the success of the federation go on with the dedication, collaboration and determination of the Mercantile Athletic Federation's president, Committee members and it act as a typify for other sports clubs,” she further said.

More than 80 players received colours awards who won over 2 gold medals and created new records in last year.
Commercial firms who co-operated to make the annual colours awards a success namely Ceylon Biscuits, Lake House, Hatton National Bank, Sri Lanka Telecom, Colombo Dockyard, Sri Lanka Aviation, National Development Bank and Janashakthi Insurance received at the ceremony. Hatton National Bank and Speed Water were the sponsors for the event.
