A biography of the late labour leader A.E. Goonesinha written by Dr. B.G.A. Vidyatilake was launched.
Dr. B.G.A. Vidyatilake is a Senior Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist. He has authored three books related to his profession and the biography of late Piyadasa Sirisena.
His latest book is a biography of the late labour leader A.E. Goonesinha, in which he pays tribute to a statesman who was instrumental in changing the political future of Sri Lanka.
At a recent book launch held at the National Library, under the auspices of former Speaker Karu Jayasuriya, A.E. Goonesinha’s photo was garlanded by his grandchildren and the first copy of A.E. Goonesinha - Charithapadanaya (biography) was presented to Yasmin Koch, the youngest granddaughter.
The book is available at all Sarasavi book stores.
