The Student Parliament inauguration ceremony was held at Muslim Ladies College (MLC) Bambalapitiya on Tuesday under the patronage of Principal Nasriya Munas.

MP Imtiaz Bakeer Markar said that when he was a student at Ananda College, Colombo he had never seen any difference as a Muslim student during his school days. He said while at school he was elected as the president of the debating and hockey teams.
