Events to commemorate slain MP

Several events were held yesterday in Polonnaruwa to commemorate the late Parliamentarian Amarakeerthi Athukorala who was brutally murdered during riots one year back. Several development initiatives also were vested with the public. Here, Transport, Highways and Mass Media Minister Dr. Bandula Gunawardena vesting with the public a new road in Polonnaruwa named after the late Parliamentarian.
