Pulitzer Prize finalists for Breaking News Photography

Eranga Jayawardena and Rafiq Maqbool of the Associated Press were named finalists for the Pulitzer Prize for Breaking News Photography.

They were named finalists for their images capturing public fury over Sri Lanka’s economic collapse, including clashes between protesters and police and the takeover of government buildings last year.
