Former Sri Lanka cap, World Rugby Accredited Match Official and Citing Commissioner Pradeep Wilson was elected President of the Police SC Officers Mess at the 69th Annual General Meeting (AGM) held at the Nalanda College Auditorium in Colombo.
Wilson joined the Police in 1997 as a sub inspector and was a member of the formidable Police SC Rugby Team from 1998 to 2012 while leading the side in 2006 and 2007 as well.
Later, he was promoted to Chief Inspector of Police and had the honour of representing the country in 2003, 2008 and 2009 where he participated in the 15-A-Side Asian IRB Qualifying Tournament against Japan in Colombo and played in the Five Nations Asian Championships in Chinese Taipei.
In addition, Wilson is currently functioning as a Committee Member of the Sri Lanka Society of Rugby Football Referees (SLSRFA). (C.D)
