Maliyadeva College vice captain Gayana Weerasinghe has reached 1000 runs for the season in style, when he hit a superb 82 on the first innings in their drawn inter schools under 19 Traditional encounter against St Joseph’s College, Maradana which was concluded at Welegedara Stadium, Kurunegala over the weekend.
