Rawzan, Rusanda, Irushka and Seniru steal the limelight

Rawzan Caffoor (Carey) made twin tons and became the first batsman to score twin tons this season Rusanda Gamage (St. Peter’s) scored highest runs and Irushka Thimira (Devapathiraja) claimed most wickets in an innings and Seniru Niduwara (Vidyaloka Galle) claimed 7 wickets for 2 runs

Rawzan Caffoor right hander of Carey College Colombo scored 108 runs in the first innings and unbeaten 100 runs in the second innings against Lalith Athulatmudali College Mt. Lavinia.

Rusanda Gamage of St. Peter’s College Bamabalapitiya scored 170 runs in 184 balls with 21 boundaries and a six against Ananda Colombo. Irushka Thimira, left arm leg spinner of Devapathiraja claimed 13 wickets for 113 runs in the match and Drashaka Sandeep, right hander scored 126 runsagainst Dharmasoka College Ambalangoda Manula Kularathne of Trinity College Kandy had a fine batting performance against Mahanama College Colombo. He scored a half century in the first innings and made an unbeaten century in the second innings. Sineth Jayawardhane of Royal Colombo scored 121 runs in 130 balls with 15 boundaries and a six against Dharmaraja Kandy. Left arm leg spinner of Vidyaloka College Galle Seniru Niduwara claimed 14 wickets for 40 runs against Wanduramba Central College and Praveen Maneesha of Rajasinghe Central Hanwella claimed 12 wickets for 127 runs and Sanuth Mandiv scored 135 runs against Royal College Horana in the same match.

Shanikya Deshapriya top order right hander and skipper made a ton and half ton in the match against Maliyadeva Kurunegala. He scored 134 runs in 168 deliveries with 13 boundaries and 2 sixes in the first inning and scored 63 runs in the second innings. Ammar Rizan of Carey College 7/33.
