The Golden Lion National Awards 2023 was held on Sunday (8) at the BMICH amongst a large gathering from the business community and other key trades in Sri Lanka.
Eminent scholar, renowned entrepreneur and current Coordinating Secretary to State Ministry of Tourism, Dr. Arosha Fernando graced the occasion as chief guest, on the invitation of Chairman of Golden Lion National Awards 2023, Amila Moremada.
“This is one of the most iconic appreciation awards ceremonies for entrepreneurs and businesses with exceptional talent in Sri Lanka,” said Dr. Arosha.
“Over 50 high profile personalities from 25 districts in Sri Lanka from various sectors ranging from Education to Medicine, Engineering, Astrology, Religion, Tri Forces and Business were honoured with honorary titles in recognition of their contribution to the country and to society,” Dr. Arosha said.
