Sri Lanka Karate Do Federation, Eastern Province conducted their Colours Award -2022 Ceremony at the Al-Hilal Vidyalaya Hall, Sainthamaruthu recently to felicitate medalists who brought fame to Eastern Province.
It was held under the patronage of the Eastern Province Sri Lanka Karate Do Federation President Moghammeth Ikbal while South Eastern University of Sri Lanka (SEUSL) Vice-Chancellor Prof. Ramees Aboobacker graced the occasion as Chief Guest.
Chief Guest at the ceremony SEUSL Vice-Chancellor Prof. Ramees Aboobacker distributed awards to the medalists who excelled in their respective Karate titles. About 82 Karate winners from Eastern Province who won medals internationally and nationally in recognized competitions held between 2015 - 2021 at the Colours Award. 5 Senior Instructors of Karate Federation in the Eastern Province too received their Service Excellent Award on the stage. Coaches from eight Karate Associations who were behind the success too were recognized with certificates. Students of Ram Karate do Organization, Akkaraipattu and IMA Karate Sri Lanka entertained the audience. Winners were congratulated and honoured by the Guests on this occasion.
