Sathosa reduces price of five essentials

The Co-operative Wholesale Establishment (Sathosa) has reduced the prices of five essential food items with effect from yesterday (14).

Accordingly, the price of Dhal has been reduced by Rs.4 per kilogram, Wheat Flour by Rs.15 per kilogram, Garlic by Rs.35 per kilogram, Big Onion by Rs.9 per kilogram and canned fish (local) by Rs.5.

The revised price of one kilogram of Dhal is Rs.385, one kilogram of Wheat Flour is Rs.250, one kilogram of Garlic is Rs.460, one kilogram of Big Onion is Rs.190 and canned fish (local) is Rs.490.
