Lyceum School, Wattala retained the overall title for another year when they emerged overall champions at the 2022 Inter-International Schools Swimming Championships held at the Sugathadasa Stadium Swimming Pool Complex in Colombo during the weekend.
A large number of swimmers from all leading international schools in the country participated in this two-day event, which was organised by the Asian International School, Colombo. Lyceum, Wattala dominated the meet from the start and went on to finish with a rich haul of 29 Gold Medals, closely followed by Lyceum, Ratnapura with 22 Gold Medals.
Lyceum, Nugegoda secured third place with a tally of 12 Gold Medals followed by Gateway College, Colombo (nine Gold Medals), Asian International School (seven Gold Medals) and Lyceum, Panadura (five Gold Medals), Lyceum, Wattala were represented by a 62-member strong contingent in the age groups of Under-10, Under-12, Under-14, Under-16 and Under-20 categories in both Boys’ and Girls’.
