Leaders should be honest with each other - Sajith

Leaders in the government should learn to work together before inviting the Opposition to form an All-Party Government, Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa said yesterday (2).

Premadasa made this observation condemning the alleged move to replace the Central Bank Governor. Premadasa alleged that the government is attempting to remove the current CBSL Governor by throwing various baseless allegations against him.

Premadasa made these observations at the commencement of yesterday’s session.

Premadasa noted that an All-Party Government is only “a joke” in a backdrop like this and urged the leading figures in the government to work together before inviting other groups to join them.
