Suspect caught while stealing petrol from doctor’s motorcycle

Security Officers of the National Hospital in Kandy arrested a suspect while he was stealing petrol from a motorcycle of a doctor at the hospital on Wednesday. The doctor had come to work by the motorbike due to the fuel crisis. It was reported that this is the third time the suspect had stolen petrol from the same motorcycle at the hospital.

The security officers have also arrested another suspect for stealing two steel pipes from the doctors’ car park on the same day.

The suspects are residents of Bogambara and Mahaiyawa. They have been handed over to the Kandy Police.
