Modara Harbour lease: Rajitha's case fixed for March 30

The case filed against Samagi Jana Balawegaya MP Rajitha Senaratne and two others over allegedly causing a loss to the government when leasing out the Modara Fisheries harbour to a private company while he was Fisheries Minister in 2014 was today fixed for March 30 by the Colombo High Court.

 

The case was taken up before Colombo High Court Judge Navaratne Marasinghe.

 

The Bribery Commission appearing for the prosecution handed over the relevant documents to the defence and the case will be taken up again on March 30 to study those documents and if there are any shortcomings, to present them before the court.
