Honorary Consul in Belgium receives service extension

Honorary Consul in Antwerp, Belgium, Monique De Decker-Deprez received her Letter of Service Extension from Ambassador of Sri Lanka Grace Asirwatham in Brussels. De Decker-Deprez has been holding this position for over 24 years. She was honoured by Sri Lanka with the national title ‘Sri Lanka Ranjana’ in 2005 in recognition of her outstanding contribution to promote bilateral relations between Sri Lanka and Belgium.

De Decker-Deprez in her capacity as Honorary Consul of Sri Lanka is currently holding the prestigious position as the President of the Consular Union that represents 120 Honorary Consuls in Belgium.
