Dinamina Katharagama bus service recommences

In a bid to ensure safe and comfortable journey to the passengers travelling from Colombo to Katharagama, the Associated Newspapers of Ceylon Limited yesterday night launched the Dinamina – Katharagama express bus service again at a ceremony held at the company premises under the patronage of chairman W. Dayaratne PC.

A seat reservation office was also opened at the company premises for the convenience of the passengers.

The bus heading for Katharagama left the company premises amidst chanting of Seth Pirith by the members of Maha Sangha led by Chief Incumbent of Subuddhaloka Viharaya in Fort Ven Professor Ittademaliye Indrasara Thera.

The bus leaving company premises at 10 p.m. evryday will reach Kataragama at 5.30 am on the following day. It will leave Kataragama bus stand for Colombo at 9.15 a.m. on the same day.

ANCL Editorial Director and Senior journalist Dharma Sri Kariyawasam, Operations Director, Attorney at Law Canishka Witharana, Legal Director, Attorney at Law Rakitha Abeygunawardena, Finance Director Attorney at Law Janaka Ranatunga and General Manager Sumith Kotelawala and the senior management officials were present.
