Ruhuna Uni to launch Prathimana

The 13th volume and first issue of 14th volume of the Prathimana bi-annual peer reviewed journal of the Department of Sociology, University of Ruhuna will be launched on October 18 at 5.00 pm. The Vice Chancellor of the University, Senior Professor Sujeewa Amarasena will be the chief guest.

Emeritus Professor Kalinga Tudor Silva of the Department of Sociology, University of Peradeniya will deliver the keynote speech on “The Role and Challenges of Religion during the COVID-19 Pandemic”. The Department of Sociology, University of Ruhuna invite scholars to join the academic event. The programme will be live-streamed on facebook and Youtube channel.
