Sports Minister Namal Rajapaksa inspected several development projects in the Anuradhapura District on the weekend.
He visited the Lower Malwathu Oya Reservoir Development Project, which is the sixth-largest reservoir in the country. The project is carried out at a cost of Rs. 22, 900 million.
The Minister also inspected the development of the East-end Car Park of the Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi and the project to install the name boards within the sacred city.
The Sports Mister also inspected the renovation of the playground of the Anuradhapura Central College, Mahakanadarawa Water Scheme and the Middle-Class Apartment Complex Project in Anuradhapura.
The Minister also distributed vegetable and fruit seeds among the Samurdhi beneficiaries in the District.
