Pre-school teacher allowance increased

Rs. 600,000 will be provided to each pre-school in the island this month to develop infrastructure. Pre-school teachers, too, will receive a high allowance from this month.

They have been paid Rs.500 per month and it has been increased to Rs. 2,500 this month, State Minister Piyal Nishantha said.
